What is a Traffic exchange and how do you use one?
A traffic exchange is a site where you when you sign up, can set up your site or sites and show them off to other members of that exchange. There are two different types of exchanges such as auto surf and manual surf. But what i want to tell you about is the manual traffic exchanges. When you click on the surf bar your site will usually show in ten seconds and up all depending on what exchange you are in. As a free member you usually get to show from three to five sites, if you want more you will have to upgrade. Obviously for an upgrade most larger traffic exchanges will cost more to upgrade in, than the smaller exchanges.
So, how can traffic exchanges be of any value to you? First let me tell you the greatest mistake many do. Trying to sell stuff in traffic exchanges directly to the surfers. This do not work, sure you can get a sale or two but it is not a way the best way to use your time. The best way to use a traffic exchange is to build a list and use a great unique splash page to get new surfers to sign up to your list. One carefully hidden secret is that people do not last long surfing in traffic exchanges.
Because of the lack of immediate results. It is difficult to get results from surfing that pays you for the time you are using surfing. That's why you have to build a list, and then build a good relationship with that list. A good solution to start out with is the Listwire auto responder service. It is free and works well.
